• Location: Assigned block or district
• Reports to: Manager – Program/Projects or Coordinator- Program
• Supervisory Role: Area Coordinators, Project Executives
• Employment Type: Full-time
Position Overview
The Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the implementation of specific projects across multiple villages or blocks. This role involves leading field teams, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of services, and maintaining data and documentation. The Project Coordinator ensures quality field execution aligned with program goals and community needs.
Core Responsibilities (70%)
Project Execution
• Implement project activities as per monthly and quarterly work plans.
• Supervise field teams to ensure quality and accountability.
• Ensure adherence to timelines, deliverables, and community engagement standards.
Field Team Management
• Coordinate with Area Coordinators and Project Executives for daily field operations.
• Conduct regular team meetings and resolve field-level issues.
• Provide mentoring and training support to field team members.
Monitoring & Data
• Ensure data collection and entry through MIS tools.
• Submit regular field reports, documentation, and case studies.
• Facilitate spot checks and internal audits.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Coordinate with Panchayat, local leaders, and community institutions.
• Ensure effective grievance redress and community participation in programs.
Link Responsibilities (15%)
• Liaise with MEAL team to ensure accurate and timely data collection.
• Support HR in onboarding new field team members.
• Assist Communications team in capturing field-level stories and impact visuals.
Systemic Responsibilities (15%)
• Promote ethical and inclusive practices among field teams.
• Uphold organizational values, safeguarding principles, and community-centric approaches.
• Participate in learning and review sessions.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
• Master’s degree in Social Sciences or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination in the development sector.
Preferred
• Experience working with rural and marginalized communities.
• Familiarity with MIS and participatory tools.

Technical Skills
• Project implementation, monitoring, and basic data handling.
Field Leadership
• Coordination, team management, and mentoring skills.
Communication
• Strong communication in Hindi and local language; basic English for reporting.
