Overview

The program Coordinator works collaboratively with other members of the QED- HQ team and other QED offices to represent and advocate on behalf of overseas QED employees, and to ensure that the necessary planning, development, and management activities function smoothly and efficiently for US Government funded overseas support services projects.

Responsibilities

  • Take lead on organizing all project activities including drafting descriptions of activities.
  • Participate in design and delivery of program activities.
  • Coordinate schedule and pre-project logistics with partners and host organizations.
  • Oversee in-country project training activities logistics.
  • Monitor in-country event sites, delivery of program activities, and provide immediate support to the partners, experts, and participants when needed.
  • Ensure the program training events are implemented in compliance with USAID regulations and Procedures.
  • Assist with Branding and Marking Policy implementation on all reports and printed materials.
  • Support in delivering needs assessment, content analyses, and studies.
  • Prepare program information outreach materials, including taking and providing photos of training events.
  • Regular review and collection of information with regard to program activities and impact evaluations. Manage filing system of program documents in hard and electronic versions.
  • Provide support to the program team in achieving the goals, objectives, and indicators of the program.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or greater in a relevant field such as Public Administration, Law, or Management.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of progressive responsibility working with similar responsibilities for USAID or other donor- funded development programs
  • Demonstrated experience in interacting with senior government officials and other stakeholders.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to produce results under short deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to coordinate well with personnel within and outside the program, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
