ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE OF INDIA (EDII) INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF PROJECT OFFICER FOR PUDUCHERRY:

Position: Project Officer - 01

Location: Puducherry

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience in Rural livelihood development.
• Master’s/Post Graduate Degree or Diploma (2 Years) in Rural Management/Social Work/ Entrepreneurship/Social Sciences/Economics/Management/Public Policy.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in MSME development, entrepreneurship promotion, project management, or government/consultancy assignments.
• Experience of working with Government programmes/projects will be an added advantage
• The candidate should possess strong documentation and reporting skills, a high level of computer proficiency, data analysis capabilities, and effective communication skills, with fluency in both English and Tamil.

Job Description: 

• Support implementation of RAMP-related initiatives at the UT level.
• Coordinate with Government departments, MSMEs, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and monitoring capacity-building programmes, workshops, and outreach activities.
• Support data collection, reporting, documentation, and progress tracking of project activities.
• Facilitate field-level execution of MSME-related interventions and schemes
• Prepare periodic reports, presentations, and MIS as required by EDII and the State authorities.
• Undertake any other responsibilities assigned in connection with the RAMP or other project.
• Contribute to preparation of concept notes, briefs, success stories, and best practice documentation.
• Support impact assessment, beneficiary feedback collection, and evaluation exercises.

Type of Employment: On a Contractual basis.

Maximum Salary: Rs. 40,000/- per month CTC.
