JOB DESCRIPTION

Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist

Role Summary – To provide psychotherapeutic and counselling services to individuals, groups and families, and spread awareness regarding mental health in a community set-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing counselling/psychotherapeutic services
  • Conducting psychological/psychodiagnostic assessments
  • Developing and implementing workshops and group sessions with community members
  • Undertaking mental health awareness campaigns with diverse populations
  • Undertaking mental health curriculum with school students and teachers
  • Liaising and coordinating with local community organizations towards expanding menta health awareness
  • Liaising and coordinating with the state healthcare officers and community members in the implementation of community mental health initiatives

Some responsibilities may be further streamlined as per specific project requisites.


Desired Profile:

  • Minimum Qualification: M.A. In Psychology, Counselling Psychology and Clinical Psychology
  • Well-versed in practical application of respective disciplines, especially conducting assessments
  • Has interest in and understanding of both individual and group work
  • Innovative and strategic thinker
  • Open to and interested in working with people from all diverse socio-cultural backgrounds
  • Open to working in rural and semi-urban settings
  • Result-driven and enthusiastic to learn and evolve
