Job Description

TERI is looking for a very dynamic and talented candidate experience in the shipping industry/ alternative fuel derived engines/ marine engines/ modern energy systems/etc. The person would act as the Research Associate (Consultant) of the National Centre of Excellence in Green Ports and Shipping (NCOEGPS). He/She should have a degree in engineering from a relevant discipline from a reputed institute. The selected person is expected to lead a team of experts and researchers who will have the responsibility of carrying out research and associated activities on the projects assigned to TERI as per the MoU with the Government, or any other activity undertaken by NCOEGPS in fulfilment of its role. The head of the Centre will ensure quality, timely delivery of outputs; liaise with other project leads and senior researchers across divisions in TERI. He/she would report to the internal steering committee headed by the Director General of TERI in terms of administrative, technical and financial output and delivery. Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• M Tech/ PhD in Marine/ Mechanical Engineering (Experience in IC Engine for Methanol- ammonia- hydrogen- DME- LPG & other blend fuels).
• Duration: 6months

Experience

• 2 - 3 Years

Skills

• Masters/ PhD in mechanical engineering / Marine engineering.
• Specialization/experience in marine Engines/ IC engines for Methanol- Ammonia- hydrogen- DME- LPG & other blend fuels IC Engine (mandatory).
• At least 2-3 minimum years of work experience
