Job Description

The Senior Manager Student Incubation will spearhead AISF's academic outreach and student innovation initiatives, with the mandate to embed entrepreneurial thinking across universities and colleges in Assam. The role focuses on developing a sustained pipeline of youthled startups by institutionalizing pre-incubation ecosystems and fostering innovation-driven student communities.

The Senior Manager - Student Incubation will lead AISF's student entrepreneurship and higher education vertical. The role involves designing and deploying scalable student support programs, partnering with academic institutions to set up pre-incubation centres, and catalysing innovation across 35 districts of Assam. The ideal candidate must bring experience in academic entrepreneurship, industryacademia collaboration or CSR-led education innovation programs. The role demands a mix of programmatic leadership, grassroots execution, and a passion for student-led innovation. A background in deploying scalable, grassroots innovation models and designing capacity-building programs, workshops, and innovation challenges. The candidate should also have networking capabilities for holistic inclusion of innovative MSMEs of the state in the startup ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships and MoUs with universities, engineering and management colleges across Assam.
• Design and implement student-centric startup support programs aligned with academic calendars.
• Establish, monitor and support pre-incubation centres across 35 districts.
• Organise and lead bootcamps, idea competitions, innovation challenges and demo days.
• Create a statewide pipeline of youth-led startup ventures through outreach, competitions and mentoring.
• Onboard and train faculty coordinators and student leaders to run Innovation Clubs and Startup Cells.
• Build a repository of digital learning resources, innovation toolkits and activity templates for institutions.
• Provide mentoring support and incubation pathways to highpotential student ventures.
• Collaborate with CSR partners, academic councils and government departments to scale outreach.
• Track program impact, student startup funnel metrics and institutional engagement levels.
• Represent AISF in education conclaves, hackathons and innovation summits, as required.
• Organize knowledge sessions amongst new MSMEs for coverage in the start up ecosystem.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Postgraduate degree in Management, Education, Social Management, Entrepreneurship or a relevant field

Desired Profile

• 8 - 12 years of experience in academic entrepreneurship, CSR in education, innovation program delivery, or startup incubation and or Social Impact.
• Experience working with higher education institutions, university systems or student innovation platforms
• Preferred exposure to campus entrepreneurship programs, youth-led innovation initiatives, or public-private education models
• Experience in designing and executing large-scale student bootcamps, hackathons, or startup fests

Abilities

• Strong understanding of grassroots innovation, student psychology and higher education ecosystem
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across education, government, and private sectors
• Excellent planning and execution capabilities with a hands-on approach
• Skilled in organizing large-scale student engagement events and outreach campaigns
• Proficiency in digital learning platforms, communication tools, and basic analytics
• Collaborative, empathetic and outcome-oriented work ethic
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Assamese preferred

Salary

Fixed CTC of 24 lakhs - 230 lakhs depending on skills and experience.
