PRAJWALA based in Hyderabad, is working on combatting trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation for the past 3 decades. With support from CRS, Prajwala is undertaking a two year project across the 4 states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha and Jharkhand to improve capacities of key stakeholders and advocate with the government to conduct rescues, investigate and prosecute cases, and provide protective and rehabilitative services to victims of human trafficking in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP) and minimum standards of care. While the focus in AP and Telangana is to effectively implement existing victim-service related policies, in Orissa and Jharkand the project will focus on improving policies and related systems. Prajwala is seeking to recruit State Project Coordinators for the project. 

State Project Coordinators (SPC) - 02

Kind of employment - Contract for two years

Location - Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Salary - Rs. 40,000/- per month (all included) 

JD of State Project Coordinator: The SPC will be responsible to coordinate, facilitate and monitor all processes leading towards successful implementation of the project and achieve the benchmarks set in a timely manner. The SPC will facilitate in implementing and monitoring activities against set targets and support the team to ensure successful implementation of the project. 

  • Overall management and responsibility of project management, team management and execution
  • Responsible for ensuring that all advocacy and training activities at the State level are carried out as per the plan.
  • Network with the relevant government line departments for ensuring that the activities are carried out as per plan - Ensure that trainings are carried out as per plan
  • To prepare project activity plans month wise and execute them
  • Ensure that project plan and activities are executed and budgets are in track with the project plans
  • Organize field visits for the donors and other visitor as and when required
  • Prepare monthly reports and submit to the head office to be forwarded to the donor as required
  • Coordinate and organise meetings with relevant government functionaries as and when required 

Required Skill Sets/ Qualification  

Education

Post graduate degree in Social Science/Social Work/Development related field.

Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience of working in capacity building, advocacy, project management, M&E & training (preferable in Anti Human Trafficking sector).  

Skills

  • Good training, facilitation and networking skills.
  • Good written and verbal skills in English, and verbal skills in the Telugu/Hindi.
  • Ability to write narrative as well analytical reports and document program activities as required.
  • Good coordination skill in working with various government departments.
  • Willing to travel extensively.
