ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE OF INDIA (EDII) INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF SUBJECT MATTER TRAINER FOR BENGALURU, CHENNAI AND PUNE:

Position: Subject Matter Trainer - 03

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Pune

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree in relevant fields such as Food Technology, Handloom & Textile Design, Handicrafts, or related disciplines, with practical exposure to production or skill development.
• Must have 1–2 years of experience in Microenterprise, Entrepreneurship Development, Self-Employment, Livelihood, or Rural Women related schemes and projects, including work with SHGs.
• Should possess strong documentation and reporting skills, computer literacy, data analysis ability, and effective communication skills.
• Must be fluent in English, Hindi, and the regional language.

Job Description: 

• Deliver focused skill training sessions based on the identified trade curriculum.
• Demonstrate practical techniques and guide trainees through hands-on activities.
• Ensure trainees understand production processes, quality standards, and safety measures.
• Assist in preparing raw materials, tools, and setup for daily training sessions.
• Support the Master Trainer in developing and updating training content and demonstrations.
• Monitor trainee performance and provide individual feedback for improvement.
• Maintain attendance, progress records, and documentation of training activities.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinators for smooth scheduling and resource management.
• Ensure the upkeep of training equipment and materials at the Common Facility Centre.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, and professional ethics among trainees.

Type of Employment: On a Contractual basis.

Salary: Up to Rs.40,000/- CTC per month
