About the Organization

Established as a Charitable Trust on 27 November, 1969, WWF-India set out with the aim of reducing the degradation of Earth’s natural environment and building a future in which humans live in harmony with nature. In 1987, the organization changed it's name from the World Wildlife Fund to World Wide Fund for Nature India. With five decades of extensive work in the sector, WWF-India today is one of the leading conservation organizations in the country.

Job Description

As a Tele Fundraiser, you will serve as a vital ambassador for WWF-India, acting as the voice of our conservation efforts. Your primary mission is to bridge the gap between our environmental goals and the community that makes them possible. We are looking for a persuasive, empathetic, and mission-driven communicator who can turn a one-time donor into a lifelong champion for nature.

You will be responsible for nurturing donor loyalty, maintaining the integrity of our brand, and contributing to a high-energy team culture dedicated to protecting India's natural heritage.

Job Responsibilities

• Create resourceful ways to spread awareness about India's biodiversity & effectively convey the organization's mission, vision, and programs to potential donors.
• Contact Donors through calls and explain WWF India's work to members clearly and excitingly to generate funds for supporting WWF-India's conservation work.
• Cultivate a network of dedicated donors and volunteers. Develop a long-term relationship with the donor and upgrade them to the donor pyramid.
• Handle inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and mail, addressing supporter queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain and update supporter information in the database, ensuring    data accuracy and confidentiality.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate/ Post Graduate/ MBA from any recognized University.
• Excellent English communication skills with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them.
• Highly performance-oriented and ability to work in a team.
• Energy and drive to inspire people and promote WWF-India's work.
• Public Speaking skills / BD experience.
• Ability to successfully balance priorities while managing multiple tasks
