Azim Premji University:

Azim Premji University was established in Karnataka by the Azim Premji University Act 2010 as a not-for-profit University and is recognized by The University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2F.

The beginnings of the University are in the learning and experience of a decade of work in elementary education by the Azim Premji Foundation. The University was founded as one of the key responses to the constraints and challenges that the Foundation encountered both within and in the environment, and as part of a larger strategy to contribute to the Education and Development sectors in the country.

Selection Criteria

The selection process for the Postgraduate Programme include:

1. Entrance Test

Part 1: Multiple choice questions.

Part 2: Essay based on the first programme preference.

2. Personal Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.

ELIGIBILITY

1.    Master of Arts in Education / Development / Public Policy & governance / Economics

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (including Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Commerce, Management, etc.) from a recognized University.
• Undergraduate students who are appearing for their final year examinations and completing their graduation on or before September 2020 are also eligible to apply. The offer of provisional admission is valid only on successful completion of graduation.

Candidates with work experience are actively encouraged to apply.

2.    LL.M. in Law and Development

Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B. 3years / 5 years) from a recognized University in India or abroad.
