About the Organization:

ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) was established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research at Hyderabad. The major mandate of the Academy is to build capacity in agricultural research, education and extension education systems, and provide policy advocacy for the National Agricultural Research and Education System (NARES)

Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Technology and Management (PGDETM – 2021)

One Year Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Technology and Management (PGDETM) is a two-semester course jointly offered by ICAR-NAARM and UoH, Hyderabad on a distance education mode through online. The programme offers an excellent opportunity to address the growing needs and demands in every aspect of education, curriculum development, instructional design, teaching-learning, evaluation & assessment, educational management and Ethical Issues in Educational Technology.

The aim of the course is to develop capable and competent teachers/potential teachers of Universities and academic institutions. The course is structured to provide application of systematic knowledge about learning and instruction to teaching and training with aim of improving their quality and efficiency.

Course Highlights:

• The Curriculum is designed to enhance the capacity of teachers on component level knowledge and skills on education technology and also to practice learning, teaching and assessment in higher education.
• The curriculum will facilitate the teachers to acquaint with latest development in the field of Education Technology to improve the teaching competences in university, training organizations and other higher order learning situations.
• The programme content will expose the prospective students to understand the latest tools and techniques for e­ffective teaching-learning situations.
• The Online Contact Sessions and term-end examinations (Online/offline) will be held at Hyderabad or any other locations depending on the number of candidates.

• Post Graduate or Any Graduate with two years of experience
