Established in 1982, Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is an internationally acclaimed Institution, which offers training program, academic courses and advisory in wildlife research and management. The Institute is actively engaged in research across the breadth of the country on biodiversity related issues.

The Institute's idyllic campus that has been carefully developed to create state of the art infrastructure encourages scholarly work.

About the Program

Wildlife Institute of India, in affiliation with the Academy of Scientific and InnovativeResearch (AcSIR), an Institute of National Importance is inviting applications from interested researchers for Ph.D. positions in the field of Wildlife Science. The students will get their degree from AcSIR.

How to apply

The admission for the next batch of PhD course (scheduled to start in August 2022) is ongoing and the advertisement has been uploaded at the AcSIR website (http://acsir.emli.in/ACSIRAdmissionPortal/online-admission/portal/acsir-online-admportal/index.php#/). All interested students are requested to follow the instructions in the link and send their applications to AcSIR. All relevant documents required are present as annexures.
