About the Organization

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is a premier, global management Institute that is at the forefront of promoting excellence in the field of management education. Over the 60 years of its existence, it has been acknowledged for its exemplary contributions to scholarship, practice and policy through its distinctive teaching, high-quality research, nurturing future leaders, supporting industry, government, social enterprise and creating a progressive impact on society.

About the Conference

The IPPN Annual Conference 2022 aims to bring together scholars and practitioners not only from India but also from across the world through high-quality academic research and policy case studies.

Venue

• Conference will be held in a hybrid (in-person and online) format. In-person sessions will be held at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad campus on December 13 and 14, 2022 with a simultaneous option to present and participate online.

Participants

• The conference is open to public policy scholars and practitioners from India and rest of the world.

Conference facilities

• All the registered participants will be given conference materials, and food and snacks for two days. Participation certificate will be provided to participants who register and present at the conference.

Conference language

• The conference proceedings will be in English; no simultaneous translation will be available

How to Apply

We invite colleagues in public policy and related areas to submit proposals for organized panels and individual papers. We welcome proposals from all policy domains and related fields such as public administration. Organized panels should consist of a minimum of 4 papers on the main or sub-theme.

Panel proposals should submit a 1000-1500 word abstract on the overarching panel theme. Individual paper proposals should consist of a 500-800 word abstract of the research paper. Once accepted, authors are requested to submitted a full paper prior to the conference.

The conference committee seeks sessions that will advance knowledge state capacity in India and the region more broadly as well as any comparative studies that have significant bearing on the literature.
