About the Organization:

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a public management school and an Institute of National Importance located in Bangalore, India. Founded in 1973, it was the third IIM to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad. It mainly offers Post Graduate, Doctoral and executive training programmes.

IMR Doctoral Conference 2021

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore’s IIMB Management Review (IMR) and the Office of the Doctoral Programme are organising the twelfth IMR Doctoral Conference (IMRDC 2021) on 4th, 5th and 6thFebruary, 2021. This edition of IMRDC will be a virtual conference, adapting the features of the physical conference into an interactive, online mode.

Their objective is to encourage doctoral research and facilitate collaborative work among researchers from different institutions.  We aim to provide a forum where insightful feedback from senior researchers and academicians would help improve the quality of students’ work.

Eligibility

The conference is open to doctoral students in Management research, who have commenced research on their thesis. In addition to doctoral students of Indian schools, we want to encourage participation from students who are pursuing their PhD outside India and would like to receive feedback from stalwarts in their field. Since research is a collaborative venture, we encourage co-authorship as long as one of the authors fulfils the stipulated conditions.
