Youth Environment Assembly (YEA): UN Environment Program 2021

The Youth Environment Assembly is the official youth forum towards the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA). Over the course of 5 days, thousands of children and youth from all around the world will engage with negotiators, ministers, UN entities and stakeholders. Through capacity building, networking, advocacy campaigns, political debates and opinion-forming activities children and children and youth work on strengthening youth engagement and strengthening environmental protection.

The main objective of the Youth Environment Assembly is to provide a self-organized space for training and capacity building for youth participating at UNEA 5.1. YEA, will be a conference which is organized and run by youth and for youth. The Assembly will comprise sessions on a variety of environmental topics, interactive segments, regional and thematic breakouts, dedicated plenary sessions and high-level segments featuring dialogues between environment ministers and youth.

Registrations are now open for youth advocates, organizations and stakeholders to register for YEA!
