The Virtual Masterclass on Social Impact Measurement and Management: Theory, Concepts and Practical Tools is a 12-hour online masterclass distributed across 4 days in 3-hour modules each. It is designed to provide NGOs, Social Enterprises, CSR Leaders and Academics, insights into the importance of integrating a sound M&E structure into their social projects. The course will take you through important concepts and theories, various types of evaluation designs, focused research tools, and the utilization of M&E results. The course adopts an active learner-oriented pedagogy clubbed with interactive and engaging discussions and practical application of the technical concepts through complimentary worksheets and exercises.

The masterclass will acquaint the participants with the benefits of results-based management to meet the expectations of Donors and other stakeholders effectively. M&E is key to supporting decision-making processes and provides all relevant parties with the necessary information, allowing them to assess performance and enabling lessons that can be implemented in future work. Hence, CSRBOX, in association with 4th Wheel Social Impact has curated a well-structured module for development sector professionals to upgrade their projects by instilling the best tools and techniques for achieving the desired impact.

The Masterclass

The training will focus on definitions, principles, and the scope of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of social development programs. Sessions shall enable a deeper understanding of social impact nuances, enhancing participant capabilities in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating projects. The training program has been designed to enable participants to plan better, implement more effectively, facilitate accountability, support stakeholder communication, and successfully guide the allocation of resources. It will make the case for and present ways to incorporate impact assessment processes into the design and delivery of development interventions.
