The Context

Despite the extreme challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought with it, it has undoubtedly accelerated the adoption of technology in the Education space. With the boom of edtech, investors are, now more than ever, directing funds towards ensuring that students and teachers have the right infrastructure to adapt to the advancement. However, the biggest challenge now is to ensure that the trainers and teachers are equipped with the understanding of the right tools and techniques to successfully deliver online lessons in creative, interactive and effective ways.

 

The Masterclass

Google is one of the most common platforms that provides abundant resources and practical tools that are accessible, affordable and convenient for one and all. Effective engagement and classroom management are the key process in any learning environment. This is when Google Drive comes handy. Google Drive is the preferred choice of many institutions and organisations to essentially store and manage data on the internet through a cloud computing technology. Google Drive allows multiple people to collaborate on the same document at once and therefore it becomes a good solution for online education and training. 

 

CSRBOX, has partnered with Learning Matters, and has created a bespoke virtual masterclass for teachers and trainers to help you get hands-on training on how to effectively use the freely available Google Drive to augment online classrooms / training sessions.

 

Pedagogy

 

Participants will be able to test their learning through in-session assignments and will receive a certification based on one final assessment.

Certificate of Participation

Participants will receive an e-certificate on behalf of Learning Matters and Impact Academy on successful participation of the 2-day masterclass.

 

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will:

1. Have an in-depth understanding of Google Drive to make their training/sessions engaging and well managed. 
2. Learn how to improve collaboration and keep their team on the same page in real time using Google tools.
3. Be exposed to the concept of improving the visibility of their brand, product or trainings using Youtube, emails, google slides, etc. as tools to develop successful approaches.

1. Know how to convert your classroom into a paperless classroom 
2. Understand how to organize, upload, share files, and resources for effective engagement of the learners. 
3. Get an in-depth understanding of how to use Google communication tools for effective interaction during instruction time.
4. Learn to build interactive lessons using Google Docs 
5. Create visually engaging instruction with Google Slides, Youtube, etc

Mr. Joseph Wilson

Lead Trainer, Learning Matters

 

Wilson is a Google Certified Educator (Level-2) with 18+ years of experience in teaching, developing technology-based products for schools and other educational institutions. His areas of specialization include designing teaching pedagogy-based aid, instructional materials for classroom and online teaching and training the teachers on the skills for online classroom. He possesses a postgraduate degree in Mathematics and a graduate degree in Education. He also possesses a certification in Positive Psychology from North Carolina University.
