CapitaLand donates critical medical equipment for Maharashtra’s fight against COVID-19

CapitaLand through its philanthropic arm, CapitaLand Hope Foundation donated more than 235 medical equipment comprising of oxygen concentrators and ventilators to Maharashtra state health officials for distribution to hospitals and healthcare facilities across the state. The beneficiaries of the equipment include Health Ministry, Zila Parishad Pune, KEM Hospital Pune, AIMS Pune, Shirala Rural Hospital and other government hospitals.

CapitaLand India team met Shri Subhash Desai, Hon. Minister of Industries, Maharashtra and Dr P Anbalgan, CEO MIDC to extend its support to strengthen the healthcare system by providing these essential health equipment in the state.

CapitaLand is working very closely with various states in India (namely Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana and Tamil Nadu) and has pledged over INR 15.7 Cr towards COVID-19 support across India.

Currently, CapitaLand owns and operates two business parks in Pune, with two parks under development, and one business park in Navi Mumbai and warehousing facility in Panvel. It has plans to launch and further expand in the state.
