About the Organization:

Capital Goods Skill Council (CGSC) is a Not-for-Profit Organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.   The Council has been promoted by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Department of Heavy industries (DHI), Government of India, with financial support by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). The supporting organizations include leading industry and industry associations representing both public and private sector. The Capital Goods Skill Council is a unique initiative to play proactive role and bridge the gap by creating a vibrant eco-system for quality training and skill development for the Capital Goods sector.

Description:

The Council is promoted by Department of Heavy Industry (DHI), & Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), GoI & National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).

CGSC invites the Expression of Interest (EOI) from Various Training Partners preferably having experience in running training programs/CSR projects in manufacturing Sector under following Job roles. The expected numbers in two years will be approximately 400 and shall be increased as per the performance and output of the project.

  • Mechanical Assembly (Fitter)
  • MMAW Welder (Welding & Cutting)
  • CNC Operator - Turning
  • CNC Operator – Vertical Machining

Eligibility Criteria

All the agencies mentioned above should:

  • Be a registered legal entity
  • Not blacklisted by any donor agency/ State Government/ Central Government/ any competent authority.
  • Will adhere to respective schemes norms (as amended from time to time).
  • Training facility should be available within Bangalore/ Karnataka region
  • Having 3 years of training experience and with good network of industries within Karnataka for placement of the candidates locally.

Duration of Empanelment

The duration of the empanelment will be of 2 years and may be extended based on Training Partner’s performance. The CGSC reserves all the rights to discontinue Training Partner any time in case of non-performance without any notice.

All the documents must be sealed in one common Envelop and it must be super subscribed with the line “Submission of Proposal to undertaking skill training projects under CSR in Karnataka”.
