EOI for applying as Project Implementing Agencies under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) in the State of Meghalaya

About the Organization:

Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) Antyodaya Diwas, on 25th September 2014. DDU-GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor families and cater to the career aspirations of rural youth.

DDU-GKY is uniquely focused on rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years from poor families. As a part of the Skill India campaign, it plays an instrumental role in supporting the social and economic programs of the government like the Make In India, Digital India, Smart Cities and Start-Up India, Stand-Up India campaigns.

About the EOI:

The Department of community and Rural Development, Government of Meghalaya is implementing the placement linked Skill Development Programme for the rural youth under the scheme of DDU-GKY of Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), GOl. The target for the state is 2412 unemployed youth during 2O19-22.

The DDU-GKY, Meghalaya Cell invites proposal from interested and eligible Project lmplementing Agencies (PIAs) to implement the projects in the state of Meghalaya. Agencies who are interested may submit their proposal on-line at https://erp.ddugky.info/ up to 28th March, 2020, as per the format prescribed by MoRD, GOI along with the application fee of Rs.25000/- (Rupees Twenty five Thousand only) payable to ED KUDUMBASHREE QA, Account number 682078465& INDIAN BANK, PATTOM BRANCH, IFSC- IDIB(X) OPO3O.

Duration:

The Project duration is 3 years with proposals spanning for 3, 6, 9 and 12 months (depending upon the trades offered). The PIAs can apply only National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) aligned courses as approved by Govt. of India MoRD Skills Division available at ddugky.gov.in.

Sectors:

The PIAs offering trades in the following sectors can apply. Preference will be given to PIAs who can offer jobs with monthly CTC more than Rs.10,000/-

• Health
• Electronics & Hardware
• Automotive
