Expression of Interest from NGOs working with Women Self Help Groups (SHGs) or Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) 

 

Background 

CSRBOX is a social impact strategy practice and implementation organisation. We work with companies and philanthropic organisations for better CSR program design, pre-project to post-project handholding and impact assessment. We embed technology solutions for responding to social problems at a scale. We are the largest knowledge platform with http://www.csrbox.org and have mapped over 30,000 CSR projects in the past 7 years. We work at pan-India level with our Teams in Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Bangalore. We are also an executive committee member of Bharat Digital Platform under the aegis of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India. Purpose of this EOI

CSRBOX is working with the corporate as an Impact Advisory and curating projects and programs around different thematic areas including promotion of sustainable livelihoods. CSRBOX, through this EOI note, wishes to invite proposals from NGOs who are working with women SHG members or FPO members for income generating activities and promoting sustainable livelihoods.   

 

Scope of Work

CSRBOX is engaged with a corporate which has shown interest to undertake Livelihood Projects involving Women SHG members or FPO members. The key interventions are:

• Corporate will provide funding for capex expenditure part of livelihood project. Examples include purchase of crop or food processing machine, natural resource based product making machines, establishment of common facility centers, other similar activities. 
• Day-to-day operations part and expenditure has to be looked after by the NGO through other funds. 
• Capacity building and other technical support to be provided to the women by NGO.  

Who Can Apply?

1. The non-profits who are working with women SHG members or FPO members for promotion of sustainable livelihoods.
2. Non-profits with at least 3 years track record in SHG or FPO women centric livelihoods projects.
3. Must have formed or capacitated women SHGs or FPOs.
