EOI from Project Implementing Agencies for implementation of DDU-GKY and Roshni in West Bengal

About the Organization:

Government of West Bengal is Committed towards large scale Skill development for its youth population to improve the scope of gainful employment and entrepreneurial opportunities under the WBSDM (West Bengal Skill Development Mission) chaired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal. To ensure that the above commitment is met successfully the Department of Technical Education, Training & Skill Development; Government of West Bengal has launched the "Utkarsh Bangla", a flagship scheme on 16th February 2016 under the aegis of the PBSSD (PaschimBanga Society for Skill Development) for placement linked short-term skill trainings across the State of West Bengal.

EOI for DDUGKY and Roshni

PBSSD intends to take up proposal from the Project Implementing Agencies registered with Ministry of Rural Development (PIAs with valid PRN No.) for implementation of DDU-GKY in the state of West Bengal for a few remaining targets for 2019-22.

Interested agencies may submit their proposal online at https://erp.ddugky.info along with non-refundable application fee of INR 25,000/- paid in favor of Pashim Banga society for Skill Development (PBSSD) (Account No: 627501215752, ICICI Bank ltd, Bhowanipore, IFSC Code - ICIC0006275)

The applicants are encouraged to apply on an early date as the applications received will be processed on first basis. Incomplete proposal in any respect shall be summarily rejected.

Proposals with trades mentioned below are not be allowed under the EOI and will automatically be rejected at initial stage of screening:

• AMH/Q0301 - Sewing Machine Operator
• HSS/Q5102 - Home health Aide
• RAS/Q0104 - Sales Associate
• SSC/Q2212 - Domestic Data Entry Operator
• RAS/Q0105 - Team Leader
• TEL/Q0100 - Customer Care Executive (call centre)

PIAs are encouraged to keep their project cost within Rs.10 Crore and they should propose minimum target of 500. Proposed training shall be fully residential. Priority will be given for projects which proposes to mobilize beneficiaries from the backward districts

PIAs who have received targets of DDUGKY from PBSSD in last 6 month are not eligible to apply under this EOI
