Purpose of this EOI

CSRBOX, through this note, wishes to invite expressions of interest from non-profit organizations who are working with underprivileged youth in the area of skilling and non-farm livelihood initiatives in the following districts of the respective states:

• Rajasthan State: Udaipur, Jodhpur Alwar, Chittorgarh, and Kota
• Gujarat State: Narmada, Bharuch, Sabarkatha, Mehsana, and Gandhi Nagar

CSRBOX is working on a project to create livelihood avenues for the youth through 3W Entrepreneurship. These youths will be trained for 3-4 weeks on 3-wheeler driving and life-skills including basic business acumen, digital financial services, communication etc.

Scope of Work

• Mobilisation and Counselling of Candidates: To identify marginalised youth (male/female) from the identified geographies or nearby clusters to explore their interest in 3 wheeler-based self-employment or entrepreneurship opportunities along with the minimum eligibility check as per the state regulations.
• 3W Driving and Life Skills Training : 3W Driving Training Design and deliver 21 days 3 wheeler driving module along with add on business, enterprise and life-skills module as per the outline provided under the project mandate
• Driving License and Permit Issuance: Supporting candidates at each stage of the license and vehicle driving permit issuance
• Facilitating Vehicle Procurement and Micro-finance: Work with captive financial services’ organisations to apply for 3Wheeler vehicle loan for the trained youths and facilitate the purchase of the vehicle
• Enterprise Kick-off and Monitoring: Provide forward market-linkages to the vehicle owners to ensure that they get sustainable livelihoods and are able to pay their EMIs for the vehicle payment. Dedicated followup and monitoring for the candidates along with first phase impact assessment.

Geographical Location:

1. Rajasthan State: Udaipur, Jodhpur Alwar, Chittorgarh, and Kota 
2. Gujarat State: Narmada, Bharuch, Sabarkatha, Mehsana, and Gandhi Nagar

Who Can Apply:

1. The non-profits which are primarily working with youth and women, in any one or more of the above-mentioned development areas can share their interest.
2. NGOs with a 3 years track record in livelihoods and skill development projects.
3. Must have an operating NGO office, academy, or set-up with minimum 1-year operations in their preferred state
