Request for Proposals For CSR Program 2020 - 21

Jumio India Pvt. Ltd. is an ITeS company that uses computer vision technology, machine learning and live verification experts to verify credentials (e.g., passports, drivers licenses, etc.) issued by over 200 countries. Our technology powers businesses with scalable, secure and compliant identity verification, which enables them to build and sustain trust in an increasingly unsafe digital world. Jumio is widely considered to be the largest and most accurate solution in the market and used by leading companies in the financial services, sharing economy, retail, travel, block chain and online gaming sectors.

 

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted on 25 September 2015 by 193 countries to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. These goals focus on mobilising efforts globally to end poverty and create a life of dignity and opportunity for all. A total of 17 SDGs aim at 169 targets are set to be achieved by 2030.

 

India along with other countries has signed the declaration on the 2030 agenda for sustainable development thereby adhering to the 17 SDGs and the 169 targets. India has set itself ambitious targets for implementation of SDGs by aligning it with the national development agenda.

 

We are writing to draw your attention towards serious issues that concerns us all. The issues might not be of immediate concern to many of the privileged us, but surely is for many that we refer to as unprivileged. At JUMIO, we have embraced empathy towards the unprivileged and the same has become the driving force for our CSR program. As we roll into another financial year to make our CSR mandate stronger, we invite organizations to join hands and contribute for the well being of the world we live. 

 

In lieu of our commitment towards Corporate Social Responsibility we invite Request for Proposals (RFP) from the not-for-profit organizations for innovative projects encompassing the themes of following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): 

•  Clean Water & Sanitation,
•  Zero Hunger,
•  Good Health & Well Being,
•  Gender Equality, & 
•  Climate Action

 

The project ideas with clear framework on the theme can be sent to us for an initial scrutiny. The ideas must focus on the key thematic areas and can be cross-thematic including one or more themes discussed above. 

 

Please share your project idea/s in the template attached on CSR.india@jumio.com. Our CSR team shall scrutinize the initial project idea/s and get back to you if the idea/s qualifies for the next round of funding. 

 

The important guidelines for the projects are given below:

 

•  Only NGOs registered and operational in Udaipur & Jaipur are eligible.
•  Only NGOs having FCRA, 80G, & 12A status are eligible for funding.
• The project idea/s must be for one financial year only. 
• The project idea/s must restrict the budget within INR 6,00,000. 
• Unrealistic infrastructural expenditure and overheads must be avoided.
• Project idea/s clearly highlighting synergy and convergence with government schemes will have an added advantage. 

 

Important Dates:

 

05^th September 2020 – RFP Shared 

18^th September 2020 – First Round of RFP Closes 

21^st September 2020 – Short listing Informed 

30^th September 2020 – Final Round of Project Selections and Commitment Approved   

 

Please be informed that due to high volume of proposals we shall only revert to the ones initially approved by our team for the next round. Kindly note that no phone calls or emails shall be entertained before and post submission of the project idea/s. Also please be informed that any attempt to influence any Jumio representative in any way will lead to cancelation of your proposal.
