CTC: INR 7.20-9.60 LPA (Depending on the experience)

About CSRBOX and the Opportunity

CSRBOX is India’s leading CSR knowledge and impact communication platform. We have a strong CSR Impact Practice vertical that works with companies and CSR foundation for their CSR projects’ need assessment, baseline study, monitoring and impact assessment. Another key vertical is social impact communication with videos, interviews, stories and digital media offerings.

As a social impact communication platform we work storytelling for bringing out impactful interventions and share best-practices. We use digital media to curate stories and disseminate the content. We are amplifying our impact communication vertical and looking for a media champion who loves to work with a 5-8 members team to lead India’s top social sector impact communication vertical. You will be the face of our media vertical and will interact with leading industry experts, philanthropists, non-profit champions.

We are a small team of 55+ professionals working across India from locations like Ahmedabad, Pune, Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Mumbai. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily/weekly curation of impact stories, impact talks and other digital media products with the specific team member for each of the formats
• Manage the CSRBOX impact media editorial calendar and plan execution of media stories accordingly
• Foster partnerships and collaborations with policy-makers, donor organisations, CSR foundations and charities
• Increase CSRBOX’s exposure to various audiences
• Video Curation, Solicitation, and Outreach
• Select, reject, and negotiate video/stories submissions based on their adherence to the editorial standards.
• Work with the communications team to ensure that video/stories descriptions, synopses, and other information follow CSRBOX’s editorial policy standards
• Ensure there are relevant and timely videos/stories to be shared regularly.
• Schedule content for featuring and promotion on CSRBOX’s and its allied platforms
• Lead efforts to grow CSRBOX’s user base.
• To research on key issues and sectoral needs and accordingly plan monthly media priorities
• To plan and implement monthly e-magazine for CSRBOX and weekly e-newsletter
• To Host video interviews with eminent personalities in India’s social impact sector

Selection Criteria

Required Attributes

• Professional qualification in media and communication
• At least 3 years’ experience in the field of communications, particularly in video/stories curation and/or production
• Strong English communications skills (written and spoken)
• Expertise in using media and technology for creating advocacy
• Strong management and leadership skills and experience

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in managing online communities or platform
• Familiarity working with multicultural and decentralised teams in virtual workspaces
• A proactive and growth mindset
• High-level organisational, interpersonal, and motivational skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to learn new things, build expertise, and develop new approaches
• Ability to take on a variety of deadline-driven tasks with limited supervision
• Experience of handing social media for growth trajectory
