Job Description

The Indian School of Public Policy is looking to hire a talented, creative and committed resource for our Communications, Outreach, and Marketing vertical. This is a full time position, and will require the candidate to work from our office in New Delhi. As a young institution providing world class education in the field of Public Policy, we are looking for a candidate who can assist digital marketing efforts and leverage on our communication channels to increase the brand visibility of ISPP.

The ideal candidate would be an energetic individual who has immaculate written and verbal communications skills, has experience executing marketing campaigns across different digital platforms, and is familiar with tools similar to Zoho, Mailchimp etc. The selected candidate will drive the admissions marketing campaigns, manage the CRM platforms and organise outreach activities like webinars, offline interactions etc . We are looking for a candidate with excellent technical digital marketing skills (including interest-based targeting on FB/ Instagram, retargeting etc), and can write creative ad content themselves. While we expect a successful candidate to have substantial prior work experience in marketing and communications, we would prioritise talent and aptitude over experience.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities and deliverables would include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Directly manage the marketing efforts for admissions - from identifying high potential marketing channels to ensuring application completion. We expect the candidate to utilise retargeting using Facebook Pixels / Google Tags, create effective email funnels through mailchimp, create image / carousel / stories ads, effectively target high potential candidates, and create persuasive content that can enable conversions.
  • Measure and report performance of various digital marketing campaigns; and assess effectiveness against goals. Identify trends, and optimize performance based on insights
  • Manage technology platforms - AI Chatbot, Zoho (CRM), marketing analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook insights etc.)
  • Ideate, design and execute creative admissions marketing campaigns
  • Ensuring all marketing communications (webinars, podcasts, social media, newsletters) is aligned and mapped to with admissions objectives
  • Lead and manage all the events / exhibitions / fairs end to end within and outside campus.
  • Assist in the creation of marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization's brand including newsletter, brochure etc.
  • Develop marketing content, and direct creative execution to provide a consistent, targeted, and impactful message.
  • Work with in-house and external graphic designers, photographers, and other media-production specialists integral to the completion of marketing projects.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-3 years work experience in marketing and communications (preferably in education)
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting marketing deliverables and impeccable written / verbal communication skills

Desired qualities and competencies

  • Comfortable working in a non-hierarchical start-up environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with Zoom and other communication platforms.
  • Able to communicate cordially and effectively with vendors
  • Comfortable with a flexible schedule, working during weekends during peak admissions season
  • High degree of expertise in digital media platforms, and has experience executing extensive online marketing activities
  • Has a good degree of proficiency using spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets) and presentations, is able to analyse data and create reports
