Job Responsibilities

• Research, ideate, develop, and create effective content
• Take brief from the technical team and convert the brief into informative and interesting content
• Provide copy editing partnership to the design team
• Proofread and edit content of the technical team
• Ensure that content meets the project’s needs, and follows USAID’s style guide
• Fact check and verify information and research
• Organize, modify, and update existing content
• Strategies and action to increase reader engagement and retention
• Contribute fresh ideas about how to improve technical outputs
• Respond to edit and communications-related issues in a timely manner

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or relevant field and minimum of 3 years of experience. Or Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations or relevant field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Proven experience creating targeted content
• Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
