Dharmalife (www.dharmalife.in) is a social impact organization advancing inclusive progress across India through two core pillars — People and Planet. Working in over 40,000 villages across 15 states, it has built a rural network of 20,000+ women entrepreneurs, known as Dharmalife Entrepreneurs (DLEs), who drive sustainable community development.

The organization works alongside women by enhancing their economic power, agency, and leadership, while addressing key social and environmental challenges. Through this network of DLEs, Dharmalife promotes sustainable livelihoods, behaviour change, and solutions across key domains — Health, Well-being, Livelihood, Education, Care, Clean Energy, Sustainability, and Circular Economy.

Enterprise Leader is the primary field-level owner responsible for building, enabling, and managing the network of Dharma Life Entrepreneurs (DLEs) / Dharmalife Tailors (DLTs) to drive rural sales, services, and community engagement.

This role is critical in ensuring end-to-end execution of recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of DLEs/DLTs, while strengthening community trust and delivering project outcomes aligned with Dharma Life’s rural distribution vision.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and activation of DLEs / DLTs across assigned villages/centres.

• Conduct training, handholding, and continuous mentoring of DLEs / DLTs to enable them to operate as independent rural entrepreneurs.

• Drive sales and service delivery through DLEs / DLTs, ensuring achievement of defined monthly sales targets and household outreach.

• Oversee implementation of projects and ensure delivery of KPIs through effective engagement and performance tracking of DLEs / DLTs.

• Coordinate and facilitate all DLE/DLT-related surveys, ensuring timely completion and submission as per defined processes.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders such as Sarpanch, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and community influencers to enhance program reach and credibility.

• Mobilize communities and create awareness to increase participation in programs, services, and product adoption.

• Identify relevant government schemes and align field-level strategies to improve service delivery, sales relevance, and beneficiary impact.

• Ensure timely documentation, reporting, and coordination with central/program teams.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Rural Development, Social Work, Business, or related field.

• Prior experience in rural sales, skilling programs, entrepreneurship development, or community-based project implementation.

• Strong understanding of rural ecosystems and community dynamics.

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including entrepreneurs, community leaders, and internal teams.

• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, data reporting tools, mobile-based applications).

• Knows Gujarati

Travel Requirement

Extensive field travel required on a daily basis as per assigned beat plan.
The role involves regular visits to villages, meeting DLEs/DLTs, community stakeholders, and local institutions to ensure effective program delivery and relationship management.
