About Organization

The Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change (CEECC) at Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) is a policy research think-tank and an ENVIS Resource Partner under the aegis of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC). The Centre's research mandates focus on pertaining files like environment, water, energy, air, climate change. The Centre is looking for a dynamic individual to contribute to the overall research and advocacy projects as well as be able to work independently in a competitive environment. 

Roles and Responsibility

The key roles and responsibilities of the Information Officer will be to provide overall support to the programme implementation in the domains of water management and climate change. The individual will be engaged in evidence-based policy research and implementation to develop scientific outcomes such as thematic databases, newsletters. The individual will be responsible for all data related matters such as collection, compilation, storage, processing and preparing it for wider dissemination in terms of infographics, policy briefs, in addition to organizing awareness, training and capacity building activities on thematic mandates.   

Essential Qualification

• Bachelors or above in Science or Technology or Engineering in the field such as water, environment, climate change, or equivalent specialization; 
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of environment or water or climate change, or equivalent sector;
• Working knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS will be an advantage. 

Remuneration 

The position is purely contractual, and the consolidated monthly emolument will be around Rs. 35, 000 which is negotiable depending upon relevant experience and skills.
