Position: Investment Manager

Responsibilities:

You will support the team and provide inputs in the following area:

• Source a pipeline of grantees and borrowers, assess their requirements, undertake due diligence, and ensure timely and effective mobilization of resources.
• Develop a pipeline of potential recipients (Manufacturers, innovators, healthcare facilities, training, and capacity-building organizations)
•  Facilitate access to loan portfolio guarantees with private banks, including USAID’s existing portfolio guarantee with IndusInd Bank
•  Designing and implementing an overall risk management process and conduct due-diligence and financial analysis.
•  Responsible for supporting a portfolio of business and aggressively soliciting and servicing prospective and current recipients to produce a variety of blended finance solutions § Structure results-based financing instruments.
•  Establish and develop a strong relationship with all potential Loan origination sources viz Healthcare Incubators, Impact Investment Funds, PE/VC Firms, Central & State Govt sponsored incubators, SIDBI and MSME financing teams of Banks etc, Healthcare Development partners and aid agencies etc
•  Good knowledge of blended finance instruments and identify the initial fit and potential at the origination level.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Advanced university degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in banking sector and/or impact investment
• Extensive knowledge of innovative financing models, loan structuring, and risk pooling and exposure to Health Sector is desirable. Credibility of working with the Government of India, development partners and corporates.
• A track record of strategic thinking and leading large-scale programs and demonstrated ability to develop and manage client and stakeholder relationships.
• Organised and experienced in managing projects and teams to tight budget and deadlines
• A team player who is a fast learner, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities, and able to work under pressure
•  Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
•  Experience dealing with COVID-19 pandemic would be preferred.
