About the Organization

Centre for Environment Education (CEE) is a national institution engaged in developing programmes and materials to increase awareness about the Environment and Sustainable Development requires a Project Officer and Learning Facilitator at Ahmedabad.

Job Description

Conduct small flexible groups to reinforce skills.

Provide individualized instruction as needed in language, environment and math subjects (i.e. study skills, review, difficult terms, etc.)

Plan and teach lessons.

Submit lesson plans to the Project Officer · Assist in the updating of remedial folders.

Report to the Project officer on students’ progress, your next action plan/goals, and activities.

Update remedial folders with test scores and any materials that focus on particular skills.

Model strategies that students will learn to implement independently.

Monitor all students regularly with assessments.

Conduct / administer assessments as required in remedial plan

Be able to interpret and analyse scores.

Identify remedial students through test data and set appropriate goals for them.

Consult and suggest/share strategies with project officers to improve scores.

Responsibilities

Support all new and on-going district initiatives (i.e. reading initiatives, assessment procedures, etc.) Participate in professional development opportunities offered by the organisation/district Maintain ethical and professional behaviour and observe confidentiality of student information. Perform all other duties as assigned by the organisation.

Salary: Rs.15,000/- to Rs.18,000/- (inclusive of all) per month based on qualification and experience.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Graduate, preferably in Education or Teaching (B.Ed./ PTC) Consolidated

Skills and abilities: Candidate me be having abilities for Critical thinking, Patience, Communication within and outside organisation, Creative and Imaginative thinking, Teamwork, Time management with Effective goal-setting, Clear communication, Acting as a role model, adaptability and flexibility, Preparation, Self-reflection, Life-long learning.

Experience: Candidate must Experience of managing children (age group 6 to 15), developing and organising class room / classroom resources, developing assessment report, working in an environment with limited / no resources

Duration : Duration of both the positions will be for a period of one year initially.
