The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Portfolio Manager to join the team in Delhi, India.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution.    

As Portfolio Manager with Clean Air Fund, you would contribute to delivery of the Clean Air Fund’s mission, through driving the design, management and impact assessment of a portfolio or grants in India, as well as supporting strategy design and field building.   

To be successful in this role you will have; 

  • Experience in working on environment, health and/or air quality issues in India.
  • Experience in project, programme, or grant management.
  • Experience in financial management, including the ability to interrogate grant budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically and to be outcome-focused, with experience in working in teams that design and execute strategies on complex issues.
  • A level of technical knowledge commensurate with a post-graduate qualification in air quality, environmental science or climate change.
  • Line management experience
  • Fluent in English, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role will initially be from home, there is an expectation of attending the office for at least 50% of the working time.
