Job Title: Senior Engagement Associate – Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat / Bharuch, Gujarat
Experience Required: 2-4 years in Robotics, Advanced Manufacturing, or related domains
CTC: INR: 6LPA – 8.40 LPA (depending on experience and expertise)
Position Overview
The Senior Engagement Associate – Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing will play a critical role in supporting the operations, partnerships, and program implementation at the Centre of Excellence in Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics in Ahmedabad / Bharuch, Gujarat. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and program management skills to drive industry collaborations, academic partnerships, and workforce upskilling initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with the Manager - CoE, technical trainers, industry partners, and academic institutions to ensure the effective execution of training programs, industry projects, research collaborations, and outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate partnerships with manufacturing firms, automation companies, and robotics startups to promote internships, research collaborations, and industrial training programs.
- Liaise with academic institutions, technical universities, and polytechnic colleges to ensure smooth execution of curriculum-aligned training modules.
- Coordinate with government agencies and CSR partners to ensure compliance and effectiveness of the CoE’s programs.
- Assist in planning and executing training workshops, certification courses, and hands-on skilling programs in robotics, AI-driven automation, and industrial IoT.
- Organize hackathons, innovation challenges, and industry boot camps to engage students and professionals in problem-solving initiatives.
- Support faculty and trainers in delivering structured courses, maintaining training infrastructure, and ensuring a high-quality learning experience.
- Assist in managing student and faculty-led research projects, ensuring alignment with industry needs.
- Support publication efforts by coordinating research documentation, white papers, and industrial case studies.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange sessions with industry experts and technology leaders.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics, including training completion rates, student employability, and industry collaborations.
- Prepare periodic reports and presentations for internal reviews, funding partners, and government stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with program objectives, funding guidelines, and policy frameworks.
- Assist in promoting the CoE’s activities through events, seminars, and digital outreach campaigns.
- Engage with students, young professionals, and industry leaders to increase participation in CoE programs.
- Develop promotional content, newsletters, and case studies to highlight the impact of the CoE’s initiatives.
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
Education& Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Additional certifications in Industry 4.0, AI in Manufacturing, IoT, or Smart Factories will be an advantage.
- 2-4 years of experience in robotics, automation, advanced manufacturing, or skilling programs in an academic or industrial setup.
- Hands-on exposure to industrial robotics, CNC programming, PLC automation, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and smart factory technologies.
- Experience in coordinating training programs, industry projects, or research initiatives in a technical domain.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Good stakeholder management skills with experience in industry-academia collaboration.
- Excellent program coordination, event management, and reporting capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of government skilling initiatives (Skill India, NEP 2020, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Make in India) is a plus.
