Job Description/ Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of youth and volunteer engagement programmes across WWF India’s Education offices across India
  • Monitor program progress and impact against both programmatic and budgetary targets. Ensure that services are delivered on time, on budget and in compliance with the organization regulations
  • Contribute towards development of a strong and sustainable youth and citizen engagement programmes and ensure visibility both in digital and on ground space.
  • Prepare timely and high quality documents and reports on project activities in compliance with WWF India’s and donor requirements as applicable
  • Identify suitable partnership opportunities for scaling up youth and volunteer engagement programs
  • Lead events, workshops, sessions in compliance with the requirements of the programme
  • Lead communications and develop opportunities to ensure programme visibility.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Post graduate in social sciences, Mass Communication & Journalism or any other relevant field
  • Three to six years of experience working with youth in development sector and citizen engagement in volunteering activities. Out of which, atleast two years of experience of working directly with youth and citizens at field level including direct communication and engagement
  • Experience of managing country-level programmes
  • Ability to assist in analyzing information, ideation and strategic planning
  • Ability to write clear and well-articulated assessment and project reports
  • A team player who is able to work collaboratively and socialize with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Strong understanding of event management, communication and the context of working with youth
