Job Description
Title of the Project: Mammalian Population Assessment in the State of Meghalaya Across Protected and Fragmented Landscapes
- Candidate is expected to work in harsh climatic condition carrying out ecological survey.
- Data analysis and Scientific report writing.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural Sciences from recognized institute/ University AND Four years of experience (After obtaining Master’s Degree) in R&D in Industrials or Science & Technology Institutions or Scientific activities and Services
OR
- Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering & Technology from recognized institute/ University
Desirable Qualification(s)
- Demonstrated experience of fieldwork on biodiversity/ wildlife conservation/ population ecology/Candidates with knowledge of Local language will be an advantage/Will be leading the team in field work, analysis, workshops and reporting
Salary
42,000 + HRA
