Chitrika is part of Access Livelihoods, established in2005 in Hyderabad, Telangana as a collective ofsocial enterprises which works with women andyouth from marginalized communities to reimagineand transform their livelihoods. Access Livelihoodscomprises of six entities extending comprehensiveservices to enable enterprise incubation andemployment opportunities. As a group, we offerend to end support including pre-incubation,incubation, and acceleration support programs.These professional services are delivered by a teamof 60+ passionate individuals who have graduatedfrom some of India's best institutions and haveconsciously chosen the road less traveled. Women Etrepreneurship Programme


In a unique and first of its kind attempt toempower and train neo-literate women to take upentrepreneurial ventures, Access Livelihoods Group(ALG) launched the Women EntrepreneurshipProgramme for marginalized rural women.

Access Livelihoods envisions the shaping of 10,000rural women entrepreneurship by the end of 2030.We have partnered with United NationsDevelopment Programme (UNDP), IRRI, Axis BankFoundation, IKEA - DISHA for delivering twophases of the programme. With successfulcompletion of two phases, the programme hasdeveloped 200 women entrepreneurs from 7locations across Telangana, Odisha, Uttar Pradeshand Maharashtra.

The third phase of the programme is currently inprogress, in collaboration with GIZ to implementthe programme in Maharashtra and AndhraPradesh.


The objectives of the Women EntrepreneurshipProgramme to be implemented are:


  1. Introducing the idea of Entrepreneurship asan option for the rural women from ruralmarginalised families in the 2 states.
  2. Training 350 women across the 2 states to beentrepreneurs across the value chain of localcrops
  3. Ensuring the establishment of enterprises byat least 50% of the participants of theprogramme and providing required incubationsupport for them.

To review and rework the curriculum developed for the programme

Skills required

  1. Passion for alternate and non-conventional methods of teaching 
  2. Demonstrated ability to design curriculum 
  3. Understanding of women entrepreneurship space
  4. Experience in developing curriculums for neo-learned women
  5. Good written, verbal communication and presentation skills 

Duration of the assignment 3 Months
