School of Education Studies (SES) SES is envisioned to evolve as a community of professionals and scholars endeavouring to understand education in its historical and contemporary contexts through engaged scholarship and practice. The School aims to bridge the gap between the theory and practice of education in its multiple locations-in that, it attempts to foster greater convergence between the study of education as a social phenomenon and the preparation of professional educators and social activists.

In pursuit of this vision, SES launched the MA Education programme in 2012, MA Education (Early Childhood Care and Education) in 2014 and a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme in 2019.

Seats in MA Education (ECCE): 42 (including reservations as per norms)


Essential: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree with minimum 45% marks (or equivalent grade) in any discipline.

Desirable: 1 year work experience in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education. Candidates appearing for the final year examination of a graduate degree may apply. Relaxation in marks for reserved categories as per the Government of NCT of Delhi norms.
