Vodafone Idea and NASSCOM jointly launch mobile app for non profits

Vodafone Idea’s CSR arm Vodafone India Foundation in partnership with NASSCOM Foundation Wednesday launched a digital project management tool for the non-profit sector at ‘Tech for Good Summit’ in Bengaluru.

‘The Managr’, a mobile app based solution is a freely available service for NGOs and organisations in the social sector and has been developed as a part of Vodafone India Foundation’s ‘Connecting for Good’ programme, along with NASSCOM Foundation as the principal partner.

“The tool is a one stop solution for NGOs to effortlessly manage social programs, streamline processes, align resources and enhance collaboration while ensuring data security, “read an official statement.

“Technology can help social sector improve operational efficiencies, access real time information, upscale the outreach and impact. TheManagr platform, developed under our ‘Solutions for Good’ CSR initiative, in association with the Nasscom Foundation, has been designed to simplify program and fund management processes for NGOs,” said P. Balaji, Chief Regulatory and Corporate Affairs Officer, Vodafone Idea.

“We are happy to partner with Vodafone Idea to support the social sector and NGOs by offering a technology based solution that can help them manage their funds and processes on a real- time basis while allowing them to focus on delivering good to the society,” Ashok Pamidi, CEO, NASSCOM Foundation, said.

NASSCOM Foundation’s two-day summit saw participation of over 600 delegates including CEOs, Tech leaders, CSR leaders, Social Entrepreneurs, AI, ML, BigData, IoT experts, mobile app developers and diversity and inclusion champions among others.
