Information

The information given in the Bid Documents and in the plans and drawings forming part thereof is merely intended as general information without undertaking on the part of the Owner as to its accuracy and without obligation relative thereto upon the Owner. The Tenderers are expected to conduct their own surveys and investigations prior to Bidding. Before bidding, the Tenderer shall undertake & shall be deemed before bidding to have undertaken a thorough study of the proposed work, the job site(s) involved, the site conditions, the labour, power, water, material & equipment availability, transport and communication facilities & temporary offices and accommodation quarters, and all other factors, constraints and facilities necessary for the formulation of the Bid, supply of materials and the performance of the work.

The Tenderer shall inspect & examine the site and its surroundings and shall satisfy himself before submitting his tender as to the nature of the ground present, physical conditions and all roads, approaches and lands which may be used temporarily otherwise in connection with the works, means of access to the site accommodation he may require and in general shall himself obtain all necessary information as to risks, contingencies & other circumstances which may influence or affect his tender.

INTRODUCTION

Barauni Kanpur Pipeline (BKPL), a unit of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Fortune "Global 500" Maharatna company is a cross-country petroleum pipeline originating at Barauni in Bihar and having its head quarters–cumpump station at Barauni in Bihar & having intermediate pump station at Patna in Bihar, Mughalsarai & Allahabad in U.P. and terminating at Kanpur in U.P. with a branch line upto Lucknow in U.P., covering a distance of more than 848 KMs in two states in order to ensure sustained availability of product oil at the tap-off points in these two states (i.e. Patna, Mughalsarai, Allahabad, Kanpur & Lucknow).

Brief Description of Work

Sustainability of CSR scheme being commissioned at Village Malak Nagar, Sadho and Tikerdeeh in District Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh The detailed scope of work is covered in the Special Conditions of Contract. All the work shall be carried out as per items in Schedule of Rates, Specification of Work & as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Site Visit

The intending Tenderer’s shall be deemed to have visited the site and familiarized themselves thoroughly with the working conditions at the work site before submitting the tender. Non – familiarity with the site conditions will not be considered a reason either for extra claims or for not carrying out the work in strict conformity with the specifications.

Submission of Tender

The Tenderer shall be deemed to have satisfied himself before tendering, as to the correctness and sufficiency of the tender for the works and of the rates stated in the Schedule of Rates, which shall cover all his obligations under the Contract and all matters and things necessary for proper completion of the works.

Tenderer’s shall quote for the work subject to their meeting the criteria for Techno-Commercial evaluation specified herein.

Tenders shall be based strictly on the terms, conditions and specifications contained in the Tender document. Any deviation and exceptions taken to terms and conditions of the tender documents must be clearly listed out in attached annexure for deviation and submitted along with techno commercial part of the offer.
