In India it is a registered charitable trust set up in 1998 to provide strategic and management support to corporates, individuals and NGOs with an aim to ensure greater impact of their philanthropic and CSR investments.

Job Summary/Main Purpose of Job

Responsible for planning, development and implementation of organization’s communication strategies, marketing activities, public relations activities, both external and internal. Directs the efforts of the communication team and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting photoshoots or assigning photographers for various CAF projects
  • Creation of short films for CAF India on various projects. The work will entail:
  1. Scripting
  2. videography
  3. editing
  4. creating the final output
  • Co-ordinate with vendors for commissioning films and photo shoots, if required.
  • Creation of a media (photo-video) library
  1. Co-ordinating with various departments to collect, shortlist and archive all programme related photographs and videos or usable footage
  • Create a resource library for all CAF India reports
  • Pitch in to the communication strategy and come up with innovative ways of using multimedia strategically
  • Support the team with online campaigns and appeals
  • Co-ordinate with BD and program teams for communications requirement.
  • Support CAF India’s internal and external events:
  1. Do live digital coverage for event promotion,
  2. Write event specific content for website/blog,
  3. Prepare event invites
  • Any other task assigned by the Line Manager/HoD.

Qualification & Experience

  1. Graduate degree or experience in relevant discipline with diploma in Journalism/PR or Mass Communications/ filmmaking.
  2. Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
  3. Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience of photo/video journalism, filmmaking
  4. Preferred experience of working in the Not-for-Profit sector – knowledge of project / program development and associated documentation, worked independent on documentation development for projects.

  • Being able to deliver under deadlines.
  • Experience in creating or sourcing content for websites/social media
  • Ability to adopt new vocabularies and work within specified guidelines.
  • Able to work as part of a small team in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in video and photoeditingsoftwares
  • Proven track record of working on documentary films on development issues.
