Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment & Development) is an autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Govt. of India, which has been identified as a focal agency to advance scientific knowledge, to evolve integrated management strategies, demonstrate their efficacy for conservation of natural resources, and to ensure environmentally sound development in the entire Indian Himalayan Region (IHR).

Remuneration: Rs.31, 000 p.m. for HJRF Rs.16, 000/- p.m. + HRA for JPF
- Post Graduate with first class in Botany/ Environmental Science/Forestry/ Rural Technology.
- Candidate having experience of working in the Himalayan agro ecosystem or related aspects
Nature of Duties and Responsibilities:
Interaction with farmers and agricultural extension workers, primary and secondary data collection related to organic farming, visit to field and action research sites and report writing
Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in the field of Himalayan agro ecosystem or related topics and working knowledge of computer is desirable.
