In India it is a registered charitable trust set up in 1998 to provide strategic and management support to corporates, individuals and NGOs with an aim to ensure greater impact of their philanthropic and CSR investments.

Reporting To

Director Communications & Marketing 

Key Responsibilities

Program Management:


  • Responsible for operational aspects of the employee giving portfolio of CAF India including programmatic interventions.
  • Plan and support innovative and sustainable programs for corporate partners
  • Support research on employee giving, and use findings to promote new ideas, concepts and generate more innovative and engagement opportunities for the programme
  • Conduct capacity building workshops


NGO & Employee engagement and relations:

  • Plan and organize NGO-Corporate Employees and Beneficiary-Employees interface as part of the reassurance exercise to display and share the funds effectivity
  • Plan and ideate different ways of engaging with the NGOs and employees
  • Routine coordination with the NGOs
  • Plan NGO and employee engagement activities
  • Plan and organize capacity building workshops for the NGOs



  • Develop, plan and implement strategy to grow CAF India’s GAYE programs by bringing in more quality and depth. 
  • Lead the strategy for CAF India’s GAYE product including client servicing, communications to market and strengthen the product and other engaging activities like events, volunteering etc. with the existing clients.
  • Undertake research on individual giving, and use findings to promote new ideas, concepts and generate more business opportunity for CAF India.
  • Managing and micro managing the strategic initiatives


Growth Avenues

  • Help, grow and strengthen CAF India’s brand and reputation in the space of individual philanthropy, demonstrating how we add value to our existing clients.
  • Ensure growth in existing payroll donors through innovative retention and growth initiatives.
  • Work closely with other units of CAF India, particularly the business development, marketing, communications teams to ensure that CAF India’s GAYE program is represented and positioned appropriately in the market.
  • Provide input into the development of strategic marketing campaigns and business development support as well as market research requirements.
  • Provide input to business development team into potential partnership relationships to open up new channels to market for GAYE
  • Provide input into business cases for funding of new OGP features, and other activities, such as market research
  • Monitor and respond to local and global competitors.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support to Business Development and CSR Advisory team to promote CAF India’s GAYE program to companies and grant makers and secure new GAYE business for CAF India.
  • As per requirement work with the Business Development and CSR Advisory team to identify opportunities and develop proposals  and presentations to grow GAYE .


Management, Eventsand Client Servicing

  • Responsible for operational aspects of the GAYE portfolio of CAF India including programmatic interventions.
  • Provide  programmatic support to  Give4Good
  • Provide input into the Give4Good product development and  innovation
  • Actively gather and evaluate client feedback to help inform Give4Good development requirements and priorities
  • Establish, manage and develop relationships with individual donors, with provision of diversified giving options. 
  • Contribute and strengthen efficient and effective Donor Servicing interventions, for all donors , at CAF India
  • Develop and manage donor relationships and donor retention and business growth activities with different types of donors
  • Continually improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the Donor Servicing intervention at CAF India
  • Organize donor events/meet, campaigns and other fund-raising events
  • Perform other related task as may be assigned by line manager.
  • Organize NGO-Corporate Employees and Beneficiary-Employees interface as part of the reassurance exercise to display and share the funds effectivity


Communications and Coordination:

  • Create Stories of Hopes and Impact Stories on routine basis to keep the momentum high of the donors
  • Create and maintain database of donors, payroll employees and create communications for GAYE that can further encourage and boost up the existing database
  • Actively participate and contribute in communication initiatives /meetings in CAF India and generate creative ideas.
  • ·         Perform other related task assigned by line manager

Qualification & Experience

  • Post Graduate in Management, Social work, Communication from reputed institutions
  • Preferred experience/understanding of Payroll Giving
  • At least 10+ years of working in the corporate sector, or within the not-for-profit sector, in an individual giving, product management and client servicing role ,with a desire  to play a more intermediary role benefitting a broader group of charitable organizations.
  • Experience of identifying, researching and building relationships with major donors and good network of corporate clients both MNCs and Indian NGOs shinning
  • Excellent Communication &Coordination Skills
  • Experience of coordinating and managing cultivation events
  • Experience and ability of managing budgets,complex donor data including finance data
  • Highly developed writing skills and demonstrated experience in preparing high-quality project plans and related documentation
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and project management software
