Eligibility:

Minimum Qualification:

1. 1.Master's (M.Sc.)/M.Tech Degrees in any of the disciplines of Earth Science/Geology/Geophysics/Atmospheric Science/ Oceanography/Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing/ Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics/Chemical, Environmental, Computer and Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA/CPI of 7.0 on a 10 point scale (overall percentage/CGPA/CPI; not only in majoring subject).
2. Exceptionally brilliant students with B.Tech. In Chemical, Computer, Civil and Environmental Engineering with strong motivation towards Earth and Environmental Sciences, can also apply for Ph.D. programme.
3. 3.For students with Master's (M.Sc.) degree in Geology/ Earth Science/Environmental Sciences, a minor in Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics at teh B.Sc. level is essential.

Age: Preferably not more than 28 years as on August 01, 2017. Age relaxation of 3 years will be given for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) and 5 years for SC/ST/PD/Female applicants.
