About the Organization

CPRG is a public policy think tank that aims to promote participatory policymaking in India through research, capacity building, and dialogue. It works across sectors to drive change that is evidence-based, inclusive, and responsive to societal needs.

As an ICSSR-recognized institution, CPRG conducts cutting-edge research across a wide spectrum of policy domains and engages closely with public policy practitioners and scholars from India and abroad to develop effective solutions to contemporary challenges. About the Fellowship

The CPRG Governance Fellowship is a 6-month programme for young leaders passionate about governance and public policy. Through rigorous research, immersive fieldwork, and expert mentorship, fellows gain insights into governance across various policy domains. As fellows delve into their projects, they will have the opportunity to engage directly with governmental agencies, public policy practitioners, and community stakeholders. Our aim is to equip individuals with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to navigate the policy space seamlessly.

Core elements

Rigorous Research

• Engage in in-depth research projects focused on analysing key policy issues,gathering relevant data and proposing evidence-based solutions.

Action Oriented

• Through immersive,hands-on learning,equip yourself with practical skills required to execute ideas and manage projects.

Immersive Fieldwork

• Engage directly with governmental agencies, public policy practitioners and community stakeholders.

Expert Mentorship

• Receive personalised guidance and support from experienced professionals and researchers.

Stipend: Rs. 25,000/month

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Prior experience in governance, research or the development sector is preferred
