About the Organization

We work with the Government of Haryana for transparent, efficient, and citizen centric service delivery in the state.

The CMGGA Programme is a first of its kind experiential learning model in India helping students understand governance and government structures at the highest level in the state. Offered as a one-year experiential learning fellowship since 2016, the programme places 25 young and zealous individuals across 22 districts of Haryana, who work in close collaboration with their respective Deputy Commissioners and administration.

About the Fellowship

The Chief Minister's Good Governance Associates (CMGGA 2.0) is a flagship fellowship programme of Government of Haryana. It is designed to harness the potential of young professionals in strengthening governance and improving service delivery at the grassroots. Initiated in 2016, followed by eight cohorts, the programme is pioneering as one of the best experiential learning models in governance fellowships.

Each year, ‘Good Governance Associates’ are selected through a rigorous national process and placed across all 22 districts of Haryana. They work directly with the district administration and in coordination with the Chief Minister’s Office, enabling rapid translation of policy priorities into on-ground action. Their role combines field immersion, problem-solving, and innovation in governance, ensuring last-mile service-delivery of flagship schemes of the government and citizen-centric outcomes in areas such as education, healthcare, women and child development, skill development, employment, digital governance, and infrastructure.

Our Approach: Experiential Learning Model

Outcome Focus: The programme follows an impact driven and outcome focused approach within a span of one year with each cohort. The associates not only work on the flagship programmes but also work on innovative and sustainable projects to work on the pertinent issues in the district.

Field-to-forum Approach: Field: On the job learning by working with the district administration, important govt. stakeholders and various departments for 6-7 weeks Forums: Synthesizing the learnings from the field at Rishhood Univesity and Global Village Foundation.

Eligibility

  • Hold Indian citizenship
  • Passionate about social change
  • Graduate with a minimum 60% percentage and at least one year of full-time work experience OR a post-graduate degree or PG-diploma from a reputed institute in any discipline completed by 30th June 2025.
  • Not more than 28 years of age as on 30th June, 2025.

You have:

  • Proficient in both Hindi and English, with the ability to read and write in both.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
  • Have MS Office proficiency and Canva to create presentations, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Able to multitask and is self-driven
  • Able to problem solve and achieve high impact in your projects
