About the Organization:

Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan (RJVS) is a grassroots-level nonprofit organization based in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, India. Since its inception, RJVS has been committed to empowering women, adolescent girls, and marginalized communities by addressing critical social issues such as gender-based violence, child marriage, education, and access to legal and government welfare services.

Position overview:

The Social Media Content Writer will play a crucial role in amplifying the voices of communities and showcasing the impact of RJVS’s work through digital platforms. This role requires creativity, empathy, and the ability to communicate complex social realities in a relatable and positive tone.

Position: Communication Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative, sensitive, and impactful content in both Hindi and English for the organization’s work, programs, and campaigns.
• Create engaging posts, captions, hashtags, and stories for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Collaborate with the field team to conceptualize scripts and ideas for posters, reels, and short videos.
• Draft content for the organization’s website and blogs.
• Create timely and relevant posts around important days, campaigns, and community events.
• Understand current social media trends and analytics to design and implement content strategies.
• The candidate may occasionally be required to visit the field to collect photographs, videos, and case studies for storytelling and documentation purposes

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Social Work, Hindi/English Literature, or related fields.
• 2-5 years of experience in content writing/digital communication (Experience in NGO or social sector preferred).
• Excellent content writing skills in both Hindi and English.
• Proficiency in design tools and applications.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their algorithms.
• Ability to represent sensitive topics (gender-based violence, child rights, rural development) positively and effectively.

• Deep understanding of social issues and the ability to communicate them in a simple, impactful manner.
• Creative thinking and storytelling ability.
• Passion for highlighting community-based work.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and deadline orientation.
