Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan (RJVS) is a grassroots-level nonprofit organization based in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, India. Since its inception, RJVS has been committed to empowering women, adolescent girls, and marginalized communities by addressing critical social issues such as gender-based violence, child marriage, education, and access to legal and government welfare services.

Position Overview:

Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan (RJVS) is seeking a highly motivated and strategic professional to lead its efforts in financial sustainability. The Financial Sustainability Officer will play a key role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, building donor relationships, and identifying opportunities for income generation. This is a critical position that will directly support the organization’s mission of empowering women, adolescents, and marginalized communities by ensuring consistent and diversified funding sources.

The ideal candidate is someone with experience in donor engagement, proposal writing, CSR partnerships, and institutional fundraising – with a deep understanding of social development issues in grassroots settings.

Position: Financial Sustainability Officer (Fundraiser)  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the long-term financial sustainability of the organization
2. Identify and engage potential donors including CSR partners, domestic and FCRA-compliant foreign donors/foundations, government agencies, and individual supporters
3. Prepare and submit high-quality concept notes and project proposals within specified timelines
4. Coordinate with internal teams to assess project/program needs and mobilize financial resources accordingly
5. Maintain timely and effective communication with existing and potential donors
6. Monitor grant opportunities and design strategic plans to establish new partnerships and alliances

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. Graduate or Postgraduate in Development Studies, Social Work, Finance, Management, or related fields
2. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, CSR communication, or donor relationship management
3. Strong skills in proposal writing, budget preparation, and understanding of logical frameworks
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
5. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and working with online grant portals
6. Prior experience proposal writing in the social sector, especially on women, adolescent and children’s issues, is preferred.
7. Candidates with prior experience must demonstrate a strong fundraising track record, including successful proposal submissions and a high project approval or success rate.

2. Strong networking and institutional communication skills
3. Good understanding of current donor expectations and reporting mechanisms
4. Ability to engage sensitively with rural and underserved communities

Contract: Initial remuneration will be provided based on qualifications and experience, and additional compensation will be offered as a fixed percentage of the funds raised, as per the terms defined in the contract.
