About the Organization: Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan (RJVS) is a grassroots-level nonprofit organization based in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, India. Since its inception, RJVS has been committed to empowering women, adolescent girls, and marginalized communities by addressing critical social issues such as gender-based violence, child marriage, education, and access to legal and government welfare services.

Position Overview: RJVS is looking for a dynamic and committed Project Associate to manage and coordinate ongoing and upcoming projects in the social development sector. The candidate will play a key role in planning, executing, and monitoring field-level interventions related to gender justice, child rights, education, livelihood, or governance — depending on the project focus. This position requires a blend of field presence, team leadership, community mobilization, and program management.

Position: Project Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities at the field level
• Coordinate with community stakeholders, local institutions, and government departments
• Organize awareness programs, community meetings, workshops, and training sessions
• Facilitate formation and strengthening of community-based structures (women's groups, youth groups, child protection committees, etc.)
• Document case studies, success stories, and prepare progress reports for internal and donor use
• Guide and support the field team to achieve program targets
• Contribute to proposal writing, concept notes, and Budget when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Rural Development, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in grassroots program implementation or community-based projects in the social sector
• Proven experience in leading field teams and working with marginalized communities
• Good understanding of issues like gender, education, child protection, rural governance, or health.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Hindi/English
• Proficiency in MS Office and Internet.
• Ability to travel extensively within the project area

• Leadership and team-building skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability at the field level
• Experience in conducting trainings and capacity-building workshops
