About the Organisation:
The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), New Delhi has established Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) under the auspices of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, Govt. of India. The AIC has been registered as a Section 8 company under the aegis of GGSIPU and known as AIC GGSIPU Foundation, Delhi.
Job Description
Job description and responsibilities The Asst. Manager – Marketing & Alliances will be responsible for marketing and promotional activities of the AIC GGSIPU. The broad responsibilities of the Asst. Manager – Marketing & Alliances would include:
- Strategically conceptualizing, developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, framework and campaigns to develop and position “AIC-GGSIPU Brand” and promote the Centre and its programs and services;
- Creating and managing a marketing calendar to ensure consistent messaging and timely execution of marketing initiatives;
- Managing AIC's online presence, including the website, social media, email marketing,
- and digital advertising;
- Developing compelling and informative content, including blog posts, newsletters, videos, and other marketing materials;
- Coordinating and preparing / giving desired inputs for press releases, interviews, and media coverage to increase the center's visibility;
- Promoting and market incubator-related events, including workshops, networking sessions, and demo days;
- Assisting startups in the incubation program and in their marketing strategies;
- Establishing partnerships with external organizations, industry associations, and other stakeholders to expand the incubator's reach;
Job Requirement
Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field with minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
Desirable Educational Qualification
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in marketing/branding, with minimum 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Certifications in marketing or related fields.
Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the marketing domain.
Desirable Experience
3 years’ full-time experience of working in a similar role in a reputed Innovation & start-up promoting organization.
The eligible candidate should have:
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in marketing, ideally with a track record of marketing for startup support organizations, business incubators, or similar entities;
- Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics tools;
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and event promotion;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and build alliances;
- Creative thinking and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of AIC-GGSIPU.
Ability to be a “Brand Ambassador” for the AIC-GGSIPU;
Selection Process & Terms
- Applications will be scrutinized and those not meeting the eligibility criteria will summarily be rejected. From the eligible applicants, shortlisting will be carried out based on academic performance, expertise and experience of the candidates;
- There shall be two rounds of interviews for the shortlisted candidates. Candidates selected in the first round of interview will be invited for a personal interview by an empowered Selection Committee appointed by the Governing Board of AIC-GGSIPU. A merit list of candidates shall be prepared based solely on performance in the personal interview. The candidate appearing first in the merit shall be provisionally selected for the position of the role of Asst. Manager – Marketing & Alliances and a separate waiting list shall be prepared by selecting the next candidate/s in order of merit from the merit list;
- A formal employment offer shall only be awarded to the selected applicant upon mutual understanding of joining date and acceptance of other terms and conditions by the selected candidate. The selected candidate shall also be given appropriate time (1 month) for transition between jobs, if so necessary, as per mutually agreed terms; and
- The decision of the Selection Committee shall be the final in all matters related to the selection and final recruitment.
