Job Description

We are seeking a young, talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, proficiency in graphic design software, and the ability to create visually appealing and effective designs for digital and print media. The Graphic Designer will work closely with CPR’s research initiatives to bring ideas to life and ensure coherence across platforms.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality visuals for digital and print media, including illustrations, social media posts, content for website and event outreach.
• Develop creative concepts and execute design projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with the research teams to create engaging content for reports and publications.
• Edit and refine existing designs based on feedback from initiatives.
• Stay updated with the trends and best practices of graphic design within the development sector.
• Engage with web developers, printers, and other vendors to ensure quality production.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience or references as a Graphic Designer or in a role associated with communications.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro etc.).
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
• Experience with designing outputs like research reports, presentations and other knowledge products.
• Experience with digital design, including web graphics and social media assets.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing past work.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Experience with UI/UX design and familiarity with tools like Figma or Sketch.
• Language and drafting skills with interest in research would be valued.
